2nd round, maybe even late 1st if a winning team is willing to let him sit and develop some. Hes instant offense on special teams though.

The reason I say 2nd, Roscoe Parrish was about a buck sixty soaking wet with half the talent and potential as Hester. Someone will take a chance on him regardless of him not having a position. He has too much untapped potential. You can look at the U of Miami and see that NOBODY is developing the way they should right now. NFL GM's will say he can be alot better with the proper coaching.

Go figure--the 49ers even fubared getting the #1 pick this year--odds on to get it, and screw that up. In need of a lineman or a wideout IMO.

    Re: 2006 NFL Draft order

All this talk about Bush and the fight for last place to get him is crazy when you realize that Mike Ditka will trade all his other picks, his credibility as a coach, his own personal copy of the "Super Bowl Shuffle", two packs of lucky strikes, and a can of spam. Just to take him 5th overall and still not have a winning team.
Oh sorry I am thinking about the last time this same scenario happened with a heisman running back that was supposed to just take over the NFL and make it his own like they keep saying Bush will do, except this is the NFL and not the pac-10 or for that matter the Big-12.

Ricky Williams turned out to be a hell of a player too, it just happens that new orleans gave up on him too soon and he gave up on miami too soon. In a world without weed, I would take Williams over McCallister hands down.

It could be interesting to see how Jason Allen recovers from his hip injury. He would have been the number one or two corner taken, but may now be a 5th round pick, or still a 1st round if he fully recovers.

Ricky is definitely a great player one of the best in the league and potential to be one of the best ever. Bush has potential to be great but will e be able to take the physical abuse he will receive in the NFL. Just like Vick he will not be able to just outrun the defense.

Stripes, I am most intrigued by Antonio Cromartie going pro. This guy is THE best corner in college football. Even with a torn acl and not playing a full season, Id take him over Jimmy Williams or Tye Hill in a heartbeat.

    Re: 2006 NFL Draft order

I have not seen Cromartie much in the past, so I don't have much basis consistently for his case. It would have to suck to be injured like him, or Allen especiall when you came back to the college for your senior year when you would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick anyway.

Cromartie is a big physical corner, but he has plenty of speed. I would compare him to Antrel Rolle without a doubt, maybe better.
